The Mexican-American Policy Alliance (MAPA) brings together leaders across ideologies on a shared vision to change the paradigm and influence U.S.–Mexico relations through an ambitious framework of economic, educational, and cultural integration. Southwest and Mexico share a strong and unique relationship rooted in culture, economy, workforce, art, cuisine, and tourism. Despite decades of successful initiatives—economic and trade partnerships, student exchanges, cultural programs, and professional collaborations—our binational relationship faces new challenges due to mounting negative federal policies and rhetoric in the U.S. MAPA is a bold response to these challenges: uniting leaders, fostering trust, and renewing our commitment to a stronger, people-centered U.S.–Mexico bond.
