आज छत्तीसगढ़ ने अपनी लोक-सांस्कृतिक विरासत की एक अनमोल धरोहर खो दी। पंडवानी गायन को देश और विश्व में विशिष्ट पहचान दिलाने वाली डॉ. तीजन बाई का निधन अत्यंत पीड़ादायक है।

अपनी ओजपूर्ण आवाज़, अद्वितीय प्रस्तुति और आजीवन साधना के माध्यम से उन्होंने छत्तीसगढ़ की लोककला को विश्व पटल तक पहुँचाया। उनका जीवन संघर्ष, समर्पण और कला के प्रति अटूट निष्ठा की प्रेरक मिसाल बना रहेगा।

Toronto, Canada — During the visit of Hon. Minister Shri Piyush Goyal to Toronto, with India’s largest business and trade delegations to Canada, a significant milestone was achieved for the Chhattisgarh business community on the global stage.

Mr. Pankaj Agrawal, President – Canada and Executive Vice President, North America Chhattisgarh Association (NACHA), welcomed Shri Satish Thourani Ji, State President of the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), on behalf of NACHA members across Canada.

In a landmark development, NACHA facilitated the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between CCCI and two prominent Canadian business organizations — the Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) and the Canada Hindu Chamber of Commerce (CHCC) — in Toronto.

The Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC), recognized as the oldest Canadian chamber dedicated to promoting commercial and economic opportunities between India and Canada proud to have been honored with the prestigious Pravasi Bharatiya Samman.

The Canada Hindu Chamber of Commerce (CHCC) is dedicated to serving as a strong platform for expression, representation, and advancement of the Hindu business community in Canada. Hindus have long contributed significantly to the Canadian economy, and CHCC continues to work toward fostering entrepreneurship, collaboration, and economic growth within the community.

The initiative was carried out under the guidance and support of H.E. Shri Dinesh K. Patnaik, High Commissioner of India to Canada, Hon. Shri Mahaveer Singhvi, Consul General and Hon. Kapidhwaja Sigh Deputy Consul General, Consulate General of India, Toronto, Canada.

These collaborations are expected to strengthen trade, business networking, investment opportunities, and economic partnerships between Chhattisgarh and Canada, while opening new avenues for entrepreneurs and industries from both regions.
