North America Chhattisgarh Association (NACHA) is a 501C-3 approved, non-profit organization, registered in the State of Illinois formed with an objective to connect people from Chhattisgarh living in different parts of the world and help shap

e the Chhattisgarh community in and outside India. It has grown to 2500+ members (as of Jan 2022 and currently operates in the United States of America, Canada, Australia, Europe, Nordic Region, UK and UAE, and Singapore with plans of further expansion in Latin America, Africa, and Center Europe. The global extension of NACHA for other non-North America Countries is under the name of the NRI Association of Chhattisgarh (NACHA). The association's mission is to cultivate, promote and foster the exchange of ideas and understanding about the Chhattisgarhi culture among the people from Chhattisgarh. Through NACHA, we want to preserve and promote the Chhattisgarhi language, literature, and culture. We want to act upon charitable causes directly concerning the welfare of the Chhattisgarhi community living across the world. We would like to identify and address the social, cultural, and educational needs of North America and the rest of the world. Chhattisgarh community and Chhattisgarhi people in general. NACHA is a new yet structured organization with 30 Board of Directors, 16 Executive Members, and individual Chapter Leads. At NACHA, members are connected through Facebook, WhatsApp groups, and the website (www.cgnacha.com) across all major regions of the United States, Canada, Australia, and Singapore. NACHA offers 6 types of memberships to its members: Beneficiary Family, Beneficiary Single, Regular Family, Regular Single, Senior (free), and Student membership (https://www.cgnacha.com/membership-benefits.php). NACHA currently has 9 official chapters. They are in Australia, Canada: Toronto, USA: California, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, New Jersey/New York, Texas, and Washington with at least 20+ registered members in each chapter. Regions: Colorado, Florida, Minnesota, New England, Arizona, North/South Carolina, Washington DC -Maryland, Ohio, the United States of Canada, Australia, Europe, Nordic Region, UK and UAE, and Singapore. Following International projects/ activities executed by NACHA national executives • Udaan Scholarship Project to provide 100% scholarship to financially aid students for higher education from the state of Chhattisgarh. • Chhattiskosh project- 1 lacs + English words to Chhattisgarhi language • Celebrating Chhattisgarh Sthapana divas internationally • Hosted 1st Chhattisgarh NRI Convention in Chicago • Setup call center SOS to support India during the Covid outburst • Hosted NRI Parents conference in Raipur, Chhattisgarh India • Representing Chhattisgarh State float in India Day parade in North America • Introduced NACHA bi-yearly magazine Hamar Patrika, and launched 8th edition https://cgnacha.com/member.php • Hosted 100+ social and professional gatherings in different cities for the Chhattisgarh NRIs community • International competition of Spelling bee and public speaking • Summer camp for college students • Project Sakhi by NACHA women's wings
