Celebrating Women’s History Month Of March🩵🤍🖤

Dr. LyChanda Coleman-Kelly is an educator, author, singer-songwriter, and industry leader dedicated to empowering others through education, creativity, and service. She serves as a Cosmetology Instructor, Curriculum Coordinator, and SkillsUSA Advisor at Hinds Community College’s historic Utica campus, where she plays a key role in preparing and mentoring the next generation of beauty industry professionals.

Dr. Kelly is committed to advancing excellence within the profession. She also serves as Vice President of the Cosmetology and Barbering School Owners and Teachers Association (CBSOTA), where she collaborates with fellow educators and school owners to strengthen professional standards, advocacy, and leadership within the industry.

In addition to her work in education, Dr. Coleman-Kelly is a published author. Her first published work, Born for Purpose, reflects her passion for encouraging individuals to walk confidently in their calling and purpose.

Dr. Coleman-Kelly is a proud member of Alpha Chi Pi Omega Sorority and Fraternity of Illinois, an organization dedicated to unity, professionalism, and service within the beauty industry. Through her leadership, mentorship, and commitment to excellence, she continues to make a lasting impact in her field and community.

DeEdra Jones is A master barber she been her perfection for 35 years. She build her reputation by being positive, kind,and respectful to everyone needs. She works in one of the top barbershop in her city. Her mission is to continue to service her community and provide for the ones who are not able.

Jackie Rosario-Pirtle is a licensed cosmetologist, entrepreneur, educator, wife, mother, and proud MiMi who is passionate about elevating people and the Beauty Industry.

She is the owner of Jackie Rosario Coiffures and founder of Luxxe Scalp Spa, where she specializes in transformative hair and scalp care experiences rooted in professionalism, wellness, and excellence.

Jackie serves as Director of Education for Alpha Chi Pi Omega Sorority & Fraternity of Illinois Incorporated where she is committed to strengthening leadership, education, and intentional growth within the organization.

Beyond the salon, she is an executive board member and secretary of Care University NWI, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting college students by providing essential toiletries, resources, and community support to help them thrive throughout their college journey.

A graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Jackie leads with faith, integrity, and vision in everything she does.

Her mission is simple: elevate the industry, empower others, and serve the community with purpose.

Cheryl D, known as “The Encourager,” is a licensed nail technician, transformational leader, serial entrepreneur, and CEO of Cindy’s Girls Foundation. She is the visionary behind Evolution H.E.R, a life changing program centered on Healing, Evolving, and Rebuilding. In recognition of her impact and leadership, she received an honorary doctorate in 2020.

With an impressive career in the beauty industry, Cheryl’s artistry has reached the entertainment world. She provided nail services for the hit television series Empire and has worked on projects featured on STARZ, along with other film productions. Her excellence behind the scenes reflects her commitment to professionalism, creativity, and high level ex*****on.

Through her work in beauty, coaching, speaking, and mentorship, Cheryl empowers women to embrace self love, confidence, and purpose. With a passion for beauty, fashion, and personal development, she uses her gifts to inspire transformation and help others shine boldly in both their personal and professional lives.
