Another state is taking legal action against cannabis operators over alleged anti-competitive practices, market control, and corporate greed.

Ohio saw a similar lawsuit earlier this year....

We’ll be watching closely to see how these cases play out 👀

Makes you wonder what could surface in Illinois 🤔

People leaving prison in Illinois are often sent out with just $15-$25 and a train ticket, and sometimes not even that. No family to call. No money for food. No place to sleep. Just a bus or train ride back into the same struggles they fought to escape.
When we release people with no plan and no support, we shouldn't be surprised when homelessness and desperation follow. That's not a second chance, it's a setup to fail. Illinois can do better.
Home for Good would make sure every person leaving prison has a housing plan before they walk out the door. Because everyone deserves a real chance to rebuild their life, come home safely, and stay Home for Good!
Today is our DIGITAL DAY OF ACTION❗️📢follow along with Illinois Coalition to End Permanent Punishments and Illinois Justice Project as we advocate for justice impacted people! WRITE YOUR LEGISLATORS AT https://homeforgoodillinois.com/letters/ reminding them about Home For Good, encouraging them to support. 🏛️

Folks were promised a fair shot at this industry but faced delayed licenses, limited access to capital, local barriers, and corporations with massive head starts.
We’re glad to see resources finally moving toward social equity businesses, but Illinois still has work to do if it truly wants an equitable cannabis industry, not just cute headlines.
