It’s time to kick off the ABS Relationships and Mentoring Program (RAMP) intake!

Participation requires a financially active ABS membership. Membership runs from Jan 1 to Dec 31, so if your membership has lapsed you must renew in order to participate in RAMP.

The program's expectations involve:
• Sharing wisdom, experience, insight, and best practices across ranks
• Committing to a minimum of four (4) mentor/mentee meetings per year
• Participating in the program through May/June of 2027

The ABS Membership Chair/Committee will facilitate the pairings based on your career stage and interests, and may create some mentoring groups. We are in need of mentors at the senior level—especially Full Professors—so please consider volunteering to be a mentor!

If you are interested in participating in RAMP for 2026-2027, please fill out the short intake survey below by 11:59pm CT on May 29, 2026.

Stronger than ever. Rooted in legacy. Rising with purpose. ✊🏾

From 1906 to 1963 and beyond, we honor the visionaries, trailblazers, and change-makers who shaped our history and continue to inspire our future. Their courage built foundations. Their faith moved mountains. Their leadership still lights the way.

This February 2026, we don’t just remember Black History — we embody it. We lead it. We live it.

We are Black History.
