Alhumdulilah,

We are so thankful to see another life changed.

For the last several weeks Giovanni has been attending events at The Ojala Islamic Center and joining us for Neighborly Deeds as we feed and clothe those living on the streets of Little Village and Pilsen here in Chicago.

Last evening with the support of a beautiful family in our community Giovanni embraced Islam.

May Allah bless him and his family with guidance and goodness 🤲

Even the simplest action, sharing a smile, handing someone a meal, or giving a single dollar—carries immense weight when done with sincere intention.

The Prophet ﷺ taught us that the most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small.

Join us as we study how to weave these timeless practices into our modern everyday lives in our upcoming 10-week series:

You don’t have to explain your past to people who have walked the same path.

When you’re going through it financially, emotionally, or spiritually; having people around you who genuinely understand where you come from changes everything.

As brother César put it, Ojalá Foundation isn't just about sharing space; it’s about being surrounded by people who have lived the same struggles, navigated the same streets, and found purpose together.

No judgment. No need to put on a mask. Just real brotherhood, real sisterhood, and real family.

If you’ve been searching for a community that actually gets you, the door is always open.
