What an incredible day of learning, connection, and hands-on experience at our University of Rochester Clinical Correlations and Bioskills Workshop!

A huge thank you to every student who joined us and brought their curiosity, energy, and enthusiasm to the Dermatology and Orthopaedic Surgery sessions. We hope you left inspired, with new skills, new connections, and an even greater excitement for what’s ahead in your medical journey.

We are especially grateful to the physicians, residents, alumni, and volunteers who gave their time to teach, mentor, answer questions, and make each hands-on station such a valuable experience.

And a special thank you to Stryker, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), and our University of Rochester partners for their support in making this Bioskills event possible.

Your next opportunity starts here! Applications are officially open for our upcoming Medical Student Symposium (MSS) scholarships and the Nth Dimensions Summer Internship (NDSI). We’re excited to welcome a new group of students and look forward to reviewing your applications!

Applicants must be attending an accredited U.S. medical school to be eligible. Please pay close attention to each application deadline:

📣 Michigan, we’re coming your way THIS WEEKEND, and registration is still open!

Nth Dimensions is hosting two FREE Clinical Correlations and Bioskills Workshops this weekend, and we’re inviting students from across the region to join us for hands-on learning, mentorship, and an opportunity to explore careers in medicine.

Orthopaedic Surgery + Dermatology

💚 Sunday, October 4 | Wayne State University – Detroit
Dermatology
⏰ 10:00 AM–1:30 PM

These events are FREE and open to all students in the region! Medical students are encouraged to attend, and undergraduate and high school students interested in medicine are also welcome to come learn, ask questions, gain exposure to medical specialties, and connect with physicians and mentors.

Whether you already have a specialty in mind or are just beginning to explore a future in medicine, come experience it firsthand.

🌎 Nth Dimensions Beyond Borders

We are incredibly proud to see Nth Dimensions alumni and preceptors taking their talents, research, and commitment to medicine around the world.

Recently, Nth Preceptor Dr. Zimmel and Nth Alum Supraja Kadagandla traveled to Vienna to present their research at ISOLS, sharing their work on an international stage. Meanwhile, Nth Alum Juan Diego and Preceptor Dr. Payares traveled to Colombia for a mission trip, putting their skills into action through service and patient care.

From research and education to service and global collaboration, these experiences reflect what it means to continue learning, leading, and giving back long after participating in Nth Dimensions.

We are so proud to see our Nth community making an impact across borders, and taking Lifting as We Climb around the world. 💙🌍

✨ What a weekend at LMSA!

There’s something special about seeing students step into a room ready to learn, ask questions, try something new, and connect with physicians who were once in their shoes. Our time at the LMSA National Conference in Houston was filled with hands-on learning, great conversations, mentorship, and plenty of moments that reminded us why we do this work. 💙

A huge thank you to our students, volunteers, physicians, residents, and partners who helped make the experience so meaningful. Lifting as We Climb continues with every connection we make.

Join Nth Dimensions for the Medical Student Symposium (MSS) held in conjunction with the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting!

MSS provides medical students with opportunities for professional development, leadership training, mentorship, and career preparation, while connecting with academic chairs, program directors, faculty, residents, and other leaders in dermatology.

🎓 Previous Nth Dimensions participation is not required.

Our 2026 Bioskills season is underway, and we’re looking for volunteers to help inspire, mentor, and support the next generation of medical professionals. Just a few hours of your time can make a meaningful impact through hands-on instruction, mentorship, and connection with our students.
