Did you ever have the thought of, hmmm, I'd really like to own a Meerkat or two but my lease says cats or dogs only? Well, this may be the opportunity you've been looking for. Meet siblings Biscuit and Espresso. They are about 12 weeks old and have already mastered walking! if you'd like to meet these darlings, email [email protected] and we'll get ya right in! Cheers!

Welcome to Tripod Thursday! We currently have both a cat and dog in our program who are rockin' three legs and are ready to find their forever homes!
First up- Cat I named Bunny. She was found by a Good Sam with most of her foot missing and bone sticking out. She was also covered in flea scabs with very little hair on her body. Despite all of these setbacks, she has been nothing but a cuddly little angel puss seeking affection and pets. She is to die for cute and great with other cats.
Next we have pup Lady. She was a surrender who's "guardian" thought she was faking a leg injury. X-ray showed her leg was shattered and muscle severely atrophied. What a phony...sigh.
She has shown us her happy silly personality and is perfectly abled now that her pain has been removed. She's great by herself or with other pups.
These animals are perfect representations of the work we do at FCRC in Alabama and F&C Adoption Center in Chicago. As long as we have your support, we will continue to take these very needy cats and dogs and ensure they have wonderful pain free lives moving forward. Thank you.

I call this The Calm Before the Storm....

Is there anybody in the BLOOMINGTON, IL area that can help us get our pup back? She will be there Saturday whatever time between 11-2 that works for you and needs to get to Felines & Canines in Chicago. Her name is Maura, she's 20 pounds and would need to stay on a pee-pad or towel as she has occasional incontinence.
