We Ride for a Reason

Chicago radio personality Patrick Capone formed his Rock Mafia Charity Riders, a non-profit organization, with one goal.. to help promote the many excellent charity motorcycle rides that happen around the Chicagoland area every year. Through on-air mentions, social media support, and live event participation, the Rock Mafia is here to help.

These days it seems that there are plenty of guys in motorcycle groups and associations riding around in vests with cool logos who choose to spend their free time hanging out in parking lots getting drunk, flipping off cameras, and listening to cover bands. While that sounds like it could be a fun time, we are definitely NOT one of those. Due to the fact that we often support veteran memorial runs, religious events, and children’s charities, our members are required to hold themselves to a much higher standard. It is our belief that riding and helping out our brothers and sisters is far more important than catching a buzz.

Becoming a member in the Rock Mafia Charity Riders isn’t for everybody. While wearing the vest our members are strictly prohibited from getting drunk in public, flipping off cameras, taking photos with alcoholic beverages in their hands, or being disrespectful in any way. As a result, many riders do not make it through the probationary period... and that’s ok. But for those who do, and for those who can maintain the level of integrity that our group has become so well known for, becoming a member can be very rewarding. Over the years, we have rode hundreds of thousands of miles in support of various charities. We have received so many wonderful comments and accolades from those we have supported that one can not help but feel a great sense of accomplishment and pride. But being a Rock Mafia Charity Rider is not about recognition or notoriety, it's simply about great people who help out deserving charities. Members come and go. Times change and new charities call for help. But one thing remains constant throughout all of this, the Rock Mafia Charity Riders commitment to help. We have 4 simple rules: 1: Family and Work Always Come First 2: Be Cool 3: Have Fun 4: Take Care of Your Brothers and Sisters

Whether your interested in becoming a member of our group, or you simply want to come out and support the charity, everyone is always welcome to join us for the ride. We hope to see you out at one of the many events of the season, and as our President and Founder is often quoted as saying.. Rock On Brothers and Sisters.. Rock On!
