Founded: Informally founded in 1993 and legally incorporated as a U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 2005.
Awards: We have never solicited or competed for awards. Every person, organization, and community that appreciates our support and achieves something positive for the collective, public good are awards for the NYEF. There have been many.
Mission: To improve the human condition with education and computer-information technologies.
Overview: The NYEF is a legal, U.S. 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization. Its staff works on a completely voluntary basis - not a penny is spent on compensation. Furthermore, every cent of every donation is used for the project or purpose stated by its staff members - they pay, from their own pocketbooks, for all office and all travel expenses to and from project areas. We assure all donors get the biggest bang for their bucks!!
