When workers have a voice, our entire community is stronger. The dedicated federal employees at Rock Island Arsenal don't just support our nation's defense, they support local businesses, raise families here, and help drive our regional economy.

That's why the right to collectively bargain matters. It ensures workers have a seat at the table, promotes fairness and accountability, and helps attract and retain the skilled workforce that keeps the Arsenal mission-ready.

Thank you, Congressman Eric Sorensen, for standing with Rock Island Arsenal employees and supporting their right to have a voice in the workplace. Your commitment to protecting workers' rights helps strengthen both the Arsenal and the communities that depend on it.

Last year, hundreds of EPA employees signed a letter speaking out because they believed political interference and environmental rollbacks were putting public health at risk.

The response from EPA leadership? Suspensions, investigations, and firings.

Recent reporting revealed agency attorneys and ethics officials warned agency leadership that punishing workers for signing the dissent letter could create serious legal and constitutional concerns. The administration moved forward anyway.

This is bigger than one agency. Public servants should be able to raise concerns about threats to clean air, safe water, and environmental safety without fear of retaliation.

Add your name and stand with EPA workers defending science, free speech, and public health.

Sign this petition to speak out for EPA workers who have been silenced for protecting sound science and public health. Retaliating against EPA workers directly compromises public safety by silencing experts, undermining scientific integrity, and creating a climate of fear that discourages reporting....

First responders are always there when we need them — but who’s there for them? AFGE District 7 has been pushing hard for Safe Harbor policies because the time for talk is over. It’s time to take real action on su***de prevention for those who put it all on the line for us, every single day.

I’m sharing this powerful video, “The Time Is Now – Support Safe Harbor Policies for First Responders,” because silence isn’t an option anymore. If we truly care about our firefighters, police, EMTs, and all first responders, we have to fight for policies that protect their mental health and make it safe to ask for help.

Watch the video. Share it. Talk about it. Let’s stand up for the ones who stand up for us. Safe Harbor saves lives. The time is now.
