BIG wins for Illinoisan drivers and homeowners! 📢

Thanks to State Senator Ram Villivalam and State Representative Thaddeus Jones leadership on SB 714, auto insurance protections are stronger and driver safety course hours are halved so more older drivers can access valuable insurance discounts.

We also thank Sen. Hastings and Rep. Jones for championing HB 4273, advancing historic homeowners insurance reforms aimed at improving affordability for Illinois consumers.

Our advocacy team, volunteers and members across the state were proud to join State Rep Theresa Mah to recognize the importance of fraud prevention. Together, we encourage all Illinoisans to learn the red flags of scams and to support community and advocacy efforts that help prevent scams, protect consumers, and assist fraud victims.

Preventing fraud is a shared responsibility, and increasing awareness during Fraud Prevention Month empowers all Illinoisans, especially older adults, to protect themselves, their families, and their financial security.
