This page is no longer affiliated with the Chicago Park District under the name Douglass Park
Advisory Council. The page will be renamed, but we're still heavily invested in the North Lawndale Community, so all our followers are welcome to stay. The name change is 'coming soon' on all social media. Douglass (Anna & Frederick) Park's newly formed committee will be informed and innovative about all of the park's issues and infrastructure. Once again, this page isn't affiliated with Douglass Park Advisory Council, but we're open to working with anyone who shares our values and mission. it

This year, the 9th Annual Washtenaw Reunion (NAWHEAD FOR LIFE) has partnered with the Douglass Park Advisory Council, RIOT FEST, The LAB WorkNet Chicago, D’Jour Creations, and 'Chicago’s Finest' 🎧🎵 M & M Productions in celebrating community engagement, building communities, strengthening family and friends relationships through a fun-filled day of dance, food, laughter, and music. The annual reunion will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Douglass (Anna & Frederick) Park - Time: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
