What can separate me from the Lord of Christ.

It was a raining Sunday; it had rained all day the previous day and it’s still raining hard this Sunday morning. I looked at the sky and didn’t look like it was about to stop raining, I really want to go to church I said to myself bit the rain is a barrier to my decision making, at this point I had to make up my mind to either get wet or stay at home. A bible verse came to my mind in accordance with Psalm 121:8, ‘I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the Lord." This verse further established the word of God in my heart, what can separate me from serving God, according to Romans 8:35-39, "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?" and lists trials such as tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or sword as examples of hardships that cannot break this bond (Romans 8:35-36). What can ever separate us from the love of God, God’s Love is eternal he never loves us in season, he’s Love is constant morning, afternoon, or evening/night. He’s steadfast, he’s never wavy, he’s always there reaching out to his children through His word as a light to our feet and lamp to our path to guide us to show us the way loving us all the way.

That day I made a resolution never to allow anything take me away from serving God, just as Christ made us co-heirs of this Kingdom so also, we should be ready to be partakers in the love he has shown to us. So therefore as we finally resolve to follow Christ, it is paramount for us to also know that he a rewarder of those that seek him diligently.

And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see vision and Your old men shall dream dreams
