DDM Leukemia Awareness Foundation To promote awareness and provide support to those affected by Leukemia, Lymphoma and other blood related disorders. He lived for 3 years after his diagnosis.

Dakari Dunsimi Mitchell was diagnosed with Myeloid Leukemia in 2010 at the age of 35. During his 3 years of suffering, his mother, Beverly Mitchell, felt helpless as she was unable to relieve his pain. Her goal since his death has been to raise awareness, and to support and educate individuals and families affected by Leukemia.
