It's time to blast off!

Tonight is OPENING NIGHT for MOONWATCHERS! Tickets are selling fast for this Chicago premiere! Grab yours today at https://ci.ovationtix.com/36644/production/1246785.

It's Rocko and Allen’s job to watch the moon. Night after night, they time the sequences exactly - the cow jumps, the comet soars, but NEVER the alien spaceship. This is until the dastardly space criminal Tommy Rumble steals the moon, taking it to the far-off space desert of the Midnight Sun. This course of events sends the moonwatchers on an intergalactic space odyssey filled with music, love, new friendships, and epic showdowns to win back the one, the only, the Moon.

Today is a celebration of the artists, audiences, and storytellers who make theatre such a vital, living art form. At Lazy Susan Theatre Co., we believe that the need to create is a reason to create. We work to grow our theatrical community and foster a safe, inclusive space for artists to learn and explore.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of a Lazy Susan production. We would not be where we are without you today!

Lazy Susan Theatre Co. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Meaning, we rely on your donations to keep the Lazy Susan turning. We are currently raising money for our next season (which !SPOILER! is a big one!). Your donations go directly towards paying our artists and designers, securing performance and rehearsal spaces, keeping ticket prices accessible, developing educational materials for our productions, and investing in new and ambitious storytelling. No amount is too little! No amount is too a lot!

AUDITIONS ARE LIVE FOR MOONWATCHERS.

--

It is Rocco and Allen's job to watch the moon, and it is really quite boring. Night after night, they time the sequences exactly - the cow jumps, the comet soars, but NEVER the alien spaceship. This is until the dastardly space criminal Johnny Rumble steals the moon, taking it to the far-off space desert of the Midnight Sun. This course of events sends the moonwatchers on an intergalactic space odyssey filled with music, love, new friendships, and epic showdowns to win back the one, the only, the Moon.

Here at Lazy Susan Theatre Co. we strive to create something that at times feels scarce in the world today. To us, community is everything. It exists in our patrons, our production teams, and our supporters. What makes our community unique is that it is living and breathing. Much of our world has moved online, and while there’s certainly a place for well-known memes, Instagram Lives, and cute animal videos, Lazy Susan Theatre Co. is here to offer you something different.

With your donations this Giving Tuesday, we can continue to build a growing, vibrant real-life community we can all be part of. A place that is not just physical, but where we can share in a moment and think about our dreams, our fears, and most importantly, our hopes.

The offer of live theatre is just the surface of who we are; we bring in new artists each season to share their talents and offer workshops where anyone can share in the joy of creating. We invite you to come be a part of our community, whether as an audience member, an artist, or a supporter.

Lazy Susan Theatre Co. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit; your donations are fully tax-deductible.
