Joint Accreditation promotes interprofessional continuing education activities designed to improve interprofessional collaborative practice in health care.

Join us May 5 in Chicago for the Joint Accreditation Leadership Summit 2026. This year’s theme—Building Teams that Sustain and Inspire—features dynamic sessions, peer discussions, and opportunities to connect with leaders in interprofessional continuing education (IPCE).

A new peer reviewed article in the Journal of CME reinforces what —Interprofessional Continuing Education developed by and for the healthcare team strengthens collaboration, supports team based practice, and aligns continuing education with improvements in patient care and system level outcomes.

Drawing on Joint Accreditation leadership and data reports, the manuscript also highlights emerging priorities for IPCE, including deeper engagement of diverse professions, stronger outcomes measurement, and scalable, technology enabled learning models.
