Shakespeare's Youth of Hyde Park (SYHP) is a non-for-profit acting troupe located in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood. SYHP's wonderful young players are in fifth grade and above. They come from many Chicago-area elementary, middle, and high schools: Murray Language Academy, Kenwood Academy, University of Chicago Lab School, Ancona, Akiba Schechter, Whitney Young, Lindbloom, Skinner, and more. ar-round after-school rehearsals are held at the Hyde Park Neighborhood Club. Performances are held in the summer at Rockefeller Chapel on the University of Chicago campus.
