A.N.M.L.A.

A.N.M.L.A. A non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Latin American Music culture.

We do this by bringing musical programs to the Chicago metropolitan area, especially those in areas of financial need. La Asociacion Nacional de Musica Latino Americana (ANMLA) is dedicated to the preservation of traditional Latin American music from the big band era. We want to accomplish this in a variety of ways including:

- The Academy “Las Americas” which provides free music education to di

sadvantaged youth of the Chicagoland area. Students are taught to play an instrument used within the Latin American Music Orquesta, how to read music, and perform with other students or experienced musicians in a Latin American Orquesta

- Orquesta Sabor Latino “ The Latin Big Band” performs in live events to promote the Latin American music culture and raise funds for the organization

- The radio show “Mosaico Musical” which serves as the media outlet and the forum to promote events and programs for the ANMLA

- VJ Productions is the production company which will produce cultural events throughout the city for ANMLA
