The Second City Sisters were honored to once again welcome the world to International Mr. Leather here in Chicago this weekend.

Before the bars filled, before the contests began, before the boots hit the pavement — we gathered in community, reflection, joy, and resistance.

This year, our mirrors reflected more than leather, pride, and celebration. They reflected each other. They reflected solidarity. They reflected a reminder that our community has always been strongest when we refuse to let anyone disappear unseen.

🌌🎳 The Second City Sisters took the lanes this afternoon and brought the glitter, the glam, and a whole lot of heart to Cosmic Bowling!

Today we stepped into the neon glow to support our LGBTQIA+ recovery community through Cosmic Bowling fundraiser. Because when the Sisters show up, we show up in service, in joy, and maybe in questionable bowling form. 💅✨

Thank you to everyone who donated, cheered us on, and helped us raise funds for such an important cause. Every strike, spare, and gutter ball was for the community!

Even under blacklight… service still shines bright. 🌈💖

Today the Sisters spent time volunteering at The Brown Elephant, supporting a space that gives back to the community in so many meaningful ways. From sorting donations to sharing smiles, every little effort helps fuel programs that uplift LGBTQ+ health, wellness, and support services.

Service is one of our core callings — showing up, lending a hand, and making a difference wherever we can.

Thank you to the amazing team at The Brown Elephant for welcoming us today, and to everyone who donates and shops to help sustain this important work.

Today’s Easter Bar Crawl was a beautiful celebration of joy, service, and community. The Second City Sisters were proud to host this special afternoon honoring the anniversary of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence — a legacy rooted in visibility, compassion, and radical love.

Together, we gathered in chosen family to uplift one another and raise funds for Life is Work, a local organization doing vital work to support trans individuals through advocacy, resources, and community care.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us, donated, showed love, and helped make today meaningful. Your support helps ensure our community continues to feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

From blessings to laughter to generosity, today reflected the very heart of our mission — to spread joy, uplift our neighbors, and show up in service.

Drag reminds us that visibility is powerful and community care is sacred. Thank you to the amazing performers and organizers for creating a night rooted in resilience, generosity, and hope.

On March 28, we’ll be at Grant Park standing in solidarity with Chicagoans who believe democracy belongs to the people — not kings, not crowns, not thrones.

We believe in dignity, justice, and protecting our neighbors. This peaceful, nonviolent gathering is about visibility, support, and reminding our community that none of us stand alone.
