Yesterday, at our membership's monthly May meeting, the AILA Chicago Chapter had much to celebrate.

We honored Erich Straub with the Minskey Beacon of Light Award. The Beacon of Light Award is presented annually to an attorney who stands out in their dedication to the advancement of the field of immigration law and as an outstanding mentor to fellow immigration lawyers.

We also honored outgoing AILA Chicago Chapter Chair, Matthew Kriezelman, for his leadership this past year, and for the last 5 years of dedicated service as a member of the AILA Chicago Chapter Executive Board.

The Chapter is deeply grateful to both these members for their outstanding commitment and advocacy.
