Leadership Center for Asian Pacific Americans (LCAPA) Since 2001, organizing the annual Chicago Asian Pacific American Community Leadership Program has been LCAPA’s primary focus.

LCAPA is a Chicago-based organization that aims to empower Asian Pacific Americans to help eliminate gaps and disparities that uniquely impact the APA community by building leadership skills and increasing knowledge of APA issues. We value

* empowerment of the APA community through education, mentorship, history, arts, and self-reflection.
* promoting social justice and advocacy for the APA

community.
* building power for positive change, individually, in our families, and collectively.
* creating leaders who are accountable to the community, respectfully bridging communities.
* fostering collaborations, developing networks, and supporting APA peers to strengthen the APA community.
