In honor of yesterday being , Citywide Pride would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the bis*xual community and their achievements, spread education, and uplift their voices. We recognize the importance of the day and bring awareness to the judgements, stereotypes, and misunderstanding that bi people regularly face. We continue to fight biphobia and strive for workplace equality, and we look to a future in which everyone feels empowered and supported to live authentically.

Citywide Pride would like to recognize the start of (9/16-9/23). This week is a time to promote visibility, education, and highlight the experiences of the bis*xual community. Let's all take this opportunity to stand in solidarity with the bis*xual community and raise awareness on the common misconceptions of bis*xuality.

We see, love, and celebrate all bis*xual people around the world and their contributions to society. We continue to fight for workplace equality and look to a future in which everyone feels empowered and supported to live their life authentically.

Last week, Citywide Pride proudly hosted our 3rd annual Kickoff event. During this event, we had the opportunity to gather in person with DEI Professionals and LGBTQ+ERG/BRG leaders representing over 50 different companies in the Chicagoland area.

Thank you to W Chicago - City Center and One Marriott for hosting us and a special thanks to The GenderCool Project for telling Chazzie's story and making this event so special.

We are so thankful to everyone who came out, shared insights, made connections, and helped further our mission of making the workplace a safe and inclusive place for everyone. We had a great time seeing old and new friends and we can’t wait to see more of you this year!

Now more than ever, it is crucial that we are raising awareness on the discrimination and inequality they continue to face. Citywide Pride stands with every person who lives their life and identity authentically, and we are committed to furthering workplace equality and ensuring that everyone feels safe and supported at work.

Recently, Citywide Pride proudly hosted our 6th annual Leadership Symposium. During this event, we had the amazing opportunity to gather in person with DEI professionals and LGBTQ+ ERG/BRG leaders representing over 30 different companies in the Chicagoland area, and discuss our most pressing challenges, wins, and goals as an LGBTQ+ leader.

Thank you to Jenner and Block for hosting us and a huge thanks to everyone who came out, shared insights, made connections, and helped further our mission of making the workplace a safe and inclusive place for everyone.

Happy from everyone at Citywide Pride! Today (and everyday) we celebrate diversity and inclusion by respecting and using everyone's pronouns.

As we honor this day, let's remember that regular use of pronouns are an important step to workplace equality. It's crucial that every individual, regardless of their gender identity, feels safe, valued, and empowered at work and Citywide Pride continues to fight for a more inclusive and equitable world.

Citywide Pride recognizes LGBTQ+ Equality Day. On this day in history, three landmark rulings were issued by the Supreme Court. Together, these rulings made strides to fight discrimination, provided equal rights to same s*x couples, and took us a step closer to a future of equality.

Today is an opportunity to both celebrate the lengths we have come in the fight for equality, as well as remember how far we still have to go. Citywide Pride continues to fight for workplace equality and look to a future in which everyone feels empowered and supported to live their life authentically.

Citywide Pride recognizes International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia ( ). We stand together to fight for equality, acceptance, and love for all, and strive for the promotion and protection of rights of all LGBTQ+ persons. Together, we can create a society where everyone is free to be their authentic selves without fear or discrimination. We continue to fight for workplace equality and look to a future in which everyone feels empowered and supported to live their life authentically.
