Edison Park Turkey Trot The Edison Park Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk to benefit various charities every year on Thanksgiving morning.

For more information and to register, go to: www.epturkeytrot.com The Edison Park Turkey Trot is a local 5k fun run & walk that is hosted every Thanksgiving morning in Chicago’s northwest neighborhood of Edison Park. We are a family friendly race that also hosts Gobble Gallop runs for children ages 3-10 prior to the 5k. The race is organized by a committee of local volunteers and was founded in 19

96 by Mary O’Connor and Rita McGovern. The Turkey Trot is a non-profit event and every year, the committee selects different charities as the beneficiaries of the race. To date, the race has donated well over a million dollars to various charities! Join us and 6000+ neighbors this Thanksgiving as we kick off the holiday with the best tradition around.
