The bridge connecting Lincoln Park and Bucktown has been closed to cars due to extensive maintenance issues. Ald. Brian Hopkins backed off a plan Tuesday to remove its landmark status after he said construction is moving forward.

The Chicago Park District has received a request to name Park NO. 567 located at 1801 N. Milwaukee Avenue, as DONT FRET PARK.

The closing day for public comments is October 25, 2026.
