Calling aspiring actors ages 5-12! Join the All-Stars Drama Class at Lincolnwood Parks & Rec!
Taught by veteran Actor, Director, Playwright, Theatre Educator, and all-around superstar Lee Peters!
Tuesdays, 3:15 - 4:15 pm
Session 1: Sept. 15 - Oct. 6
Session 2: Oct. 13 - Nov. 3
Session 3: Nov. 10 - Dec. 1
This fun class will focus on the fundamentals of acting, communicating and working together as an ensemble and empowering participants to find their own voices and ways to express themselves onstage and off.
In-person class, all safety protocols will be strictly adhered to including safe distancing and masks at all times.

Have you seen "The Tempest"? It is streaming online now through July 31. Proceeds from this production with benefit three amazing organizations. One of those organizations is Perceptions Theatre Company! Learn more:

Perceptions Theatre is a black woman owned non-profit theatre company that changes the way people perceive the world around them one show at a time by shining a light on under-served communities with theatre and educational programming. We are a safe space that gives a voice to African American and BIPOC communities to express themselves through art that: works to eliminate prejudice, discrimination and defends human and civil rights. In our
educational and literary training ground we help our community start their career from headshots, to making a resume, actor and technical training services, self-taping services, to workshops and casting for our own shows and working with the under-served communities around Chicago by bringing our services to them i.e. schools and other organizations.
Perceptions Theatre is a 501c3 non-profit organization.

We at Perceptions Theatre are with you and will continue to be with you. This is not a trend to us and our mission reflects that. Hey friends! We are teaming up again with our friends at Albany Park Theater Project, Filament Theatre, Friendship Presbyterian Church, and The Gift Theatre Company to gather donations and supplies for families in need in Albany Park. All donations that come in through July 18: Northwest Side Supplies Drive will be delivered to the Albany Park Food Pantry at Christ Lutheran Church, Chicago and The Kedzie Center.

Drop off donations this Saturday, 7/18 from 10:00am - 3:00pm at 2nd Story (3001 W. Lawrence Ave).
