HLAI is incredibly proud to celebrate Daihana Estrada on two remarkable and well-deserved honors: being named HLAI’s 2026 Young Lawyer of the Year and becoming the new Chair of the American Bar Association’s Hispanic Commission (Latino Commission).
An associate attorney at Barnes & Thornburg, Daihana is a dedicated litigator, advocate, and leader whose career reflects a deep commitment to service, the Latino community, and the legal profession. Beyond her practice, her decade-long ABA journey has taken her from Student Liaison to presidentially appointed Commissioner and now Chair of the Hispanic Commission, while also serving on the ABA Presidential Appointments Committee.
Daihana most recently served as HLAI’s 2025-2026 Board Recording Secretary and now sits on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Coalition to End Homelessness, a deeply personal and full-circle milestone. She continues to turn her experiences into purpose, break barriers, and lead with both excellence and heart.
Daihana, it is an honor to celebrate your leadership and all that you continue to accomplish. We are grateful to call you part of the HLAI familia. Congratulations!
