Last week, we proudly presented our $500,000 pledge to The Woman's Board Endowed Fund for Research and Clinical Trials at Rush. 💚

We are thrilled to continue building on that will make a lasting difference at Rush University Medical Center.

We are incredibly grateful for your presence, your support, and for making the afternoon so meaningful with Doris. We hope you left feeling inspired to give and to take action in your own way.

We are so excited to spotlight our moderator for the 31st Annual Spring Luncheon, Nathalie Wheaton!

Nathalie Wheaton has served as the archivist of Rush University Medical Center and Rush University since 2014, and, previously, as assistant archivist. As part of Kenamore & Klinkow, LLC, an independent archives consulting firm, she helped establish and manage the archives of UL (Underwriters Laboratories) in Northbrook, Ill., before returning to Rush.

Nathalie is the long-time moderator of the Chicago Area Medical Archivists and serves on the Parents and Caregivers Advisory Board of Trans Up Front IL; the board of the Mount Prospect Historical Society; the Illinois Medical District Commission's Arts, Culture, and Events Council; and the Rush University Staff Council. She also hosts walking tours and lectures centered on Chicago's health history through the nonprofit organization Chicago for Chicagoans.

Nathalie earned her MSLS degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Yesterday, our newest members, alongside several of our seasoned leaders, joined us for orientation and a tour of the programs our work supports across the medical center.

It was a wonderful afternoon that set the tone for the meaningful work ahead.

Our first gift shop opened in the Spring of 1940. Since then, it has grown into a beloved staple of the medical center for visitors, patients, and staff.
