Introducing our amazing Masters of Rituals (MORs), Sid Bhatia and Izzy Mak! Sid and Izzy met during their rushing and pledging process, joining Alpha Alpha class together. As MORs, they’ll be leading the Spring 2026 recruitment cycle, and are so excited to share what’s in store for you!

Sid () is a 2nd year from Long Island, New York, and he’s majoring in Business Economics & Media, Arts, and Design. In his free time he likes to go thrifting, watch movies, do film photography, and listen to music. When asked about his favorite memory from AKPsi he said going to Sushi Taku with his PC. His favorite albums from 2016 are Dangerous Woman and Blonde!

Izzy () is a 2nd year from San Diego, California, and she’s majoring in Economics with minors in Visual Arts and EALC. In her free time she likes to do her nails, bake, make matcha, and do arts and crafts. When asked about her favorite memory from AKPsi she said doing yoga with her family. Her favorite 2016 trend was slime that looks like food!

Alpha Kappa Psi, UChicago’s premier business fraternity, is excited to host its annual flagship event “Brunch with Booth.” BwB is a networking event that helps undergraduate students interested in business learn more about different industries and professions by connecting them with experienced Booth MBA students. The event’s format is 30-minute one-on-one coffee chats with a Booth MBA student who is experienced in the field that the student indicates interest in.

Represented fields: Economic/Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Investment Management, Accounting, Corporate, Technology, Real Estate, and Law.

This year, Brunch with Booth will be held in the Cloisters Club of Ida Noyes Hall (1212 E 59th St, Chicago, IL 60637) on February 27th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm CT.

The dress code is business casual. Sign-ups close Sunday (2/22) at midnight.

* Receiving a time slot entails full requirement of attendance. Failure to do so means possibly getting barred from future AKPsi events.

** As there are a limited number of Booth students available, there is the possibility that not all students will be given slots.

Picnic with Polsky is a 1-hr moderated panel discussion + open Q&A with successful entrepreneurs and people with experience at the Polsky center. Learn about opportunities in entrepreneurship and startups directly from industry professionals at Chicago Booth and the Polsky Center.

AKPsi is so excited to announce our second public disability workshop! It will be in South Lounge next Wednesday January 15th at 8pm, and there will be Jet’s Pizza for attendees :)

The event is planned and hosted by our wonderful members Xander Deanhardt, Zach Sharp, Emma Kamran, and Lucas Perez. They’ve prepared fun and informative games and activities that give firsthand accounts of what living with autism, ADHD, visual impairment, and ME/CFS is like.

At AKPsi, we value diverse perspectives and backgrounds and lead with our fraternal values. As such, we want to ensure that education on disabilities is accessible to everyone!
