Today, I'm reflecting on a special moment with my first group of young adult clients supported by my company, Urban Community Alliance. I introduced a 4-part series focusing on enhancing their emotional intelligence (EQ) as they embark on their careers as 1st generation college graduates.

While most organizations focus on developing the tactical skills of their employees, I fill in the gaps by equipping individuals with emotional intelligence to enhance collaboration and productivity, especially in environments where diversity may be lacking.
