Join our Resilient Food Systems call tomorrow, 5/5, at 3:00pm for a special session featuring the Illinois Food System Roadmap facilitators! This is a critical opportunity for us to ensure our perspectives, communities, and interests are thoroughly represented in this statewide initiative.

In this interactive session, the Roadmap Task Force facilitators seek to validate our Phase 1 findings, surface gaps and missing pieces, and ensure all food system stakeholders and impacted communities have a seat at the table for this critical statewide initiative!

CFPAC is closed today, May 1st, in solidarity with workers everywhere. We honor International Workers Day and uplift the power of organizing and collective action. This Day, we’re urging our community to speak out and tell Congress to vote NO on the House Farm Bill. Our future depends on protecting the people who feed us, the land that sustains us, and the communities working every day to build a better food system.

Today, we celebrate the farmers, growers, organizers, and land stewards who nourish our communities and remind us what is possible when we stay rooted in care for one another and for the Earth
