Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce Everything you love about Chicago in one neighborhood. The Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce is the Sole Service Provider for Special Service Areas #8 and #17.

The Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce is a broad community based organization designed to represent and help merchants and other business people in the community. It is a policy of the organization to promote goodwill and a vibrant business environment for merchants, consumers, and area residents. Combined, the two business districts include Sheffield Avenue from Irving Park Road to Diversey Parkway; Clark Street from Diversey to Irving Park Road; Broadway from Diversey to Grace;; Belmont Avenue from Racine Avenue to Broadway and Halsted from Diversey to Belmont. This area is famous for attractions like Wrigley Field, The Briar Street Theater, a thriving dining district, exciting nightlife and a number a boutique hotels and Bed and Breakfasts. As a not-for-profit organization of merchants and various business people, the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce works to foster economic growth and development within its boundaries through the collaborative efforts of its staff, volunteer Board of Directors, and the City of Chicago Department of Community Development. The organization utilizes available government resources and programs to assist merchants in opening and growing their businesses through a variety of programs and services.

These next two weeks we're getting ready to say our final goodbye to Royal Home Entertainment after an incredible 55 years in Lakeview East.

Joe is clearing out the Broadway store, which means there’s a huge final clearance sale happening now. Everything must go, reasonable offers are welcome, and all sales are final.

If you’ve ever shopped there, passed the storefront a thousand times, or just want to take home a little piece of Lakeview East history, this is the weekend to stop in.

Thank you, Joe, for 55 years of showing up for this neighborhood. We’re really going to miss having Royal Home Entertainment on Broadway.

Runners, start your engines!
This Sunday is the 48th Annual Chicago Marathon, and runners will be racing through our neighborhood.

The race is way more fun when you don't get towed! LOOK OUT for street closure signs, and no parking signs. Towing will begin at 1 am on Sunday, October 11th. Swipe to see the course map!

The Chicago Marathon is a huge and fun event, for both runners and spectators. Enjoy the Marathon safely, and good luck to all those participating!

A little taste of Europe in Chicago! Cafe Korzo Chicago , 2935 N Broadway, is a cozy European-style cafe serving authentic Balkan dishes paired with great drinks. Treat yourself to a pizza with a spritz, or some Nutella crepes with a cappuccino! The expansive menu has something to satisfy any of your cravings.

Every morning, they open at 9 a.m. and serve breakfast until 3 p.m., with the full menu available until 9 p.m. The open-door seating creates a casual and inviting space, encouraging guests to take a nice walk, stop into the cafe for a while to unwind and relax, and then continue on their way. To encourage conversation and connection, the dining room is an unplugged, laptop-free space.

We tried some phenomenal dishes and drinks while we were there. Here’s what we ordered:

Spooky sips over at Cesar's Killer Margaritas 🎃🕸️

The lineup starts with the Black Widow, a blackberry margarita dressed in deep, dark hues. The blackberry brings a rich berry flavor and a slightly mysterious edge to the classic margarita, making this the darkest-looking drink of the trio.

Next comes El Vampiro, a strawberry margarita with a fittingly blood-red hue. The juicy strawberry flavor brings sweetness to the tequila-and-lime combination, turning a familiar margarita into something that looks right at home on a vampire’s table.

And then there’s La Bruja, a striking purple lime margarita that looks like it belongs in a witch’s cauldron. Beneath the dramatic color is the bright, citrusy flavor of lime - a familiar margarita combination with a distinctly Halloween-ready appearance.
