We’re excited to announce our 5th Annual Gala: A Night at The Museum taking place on November 13th, 2026 at the Field Museum.

The ILLCF Annual Gala is more than a celebration. It is an opportunity to bring together Latino leaders, students, advocates, elected officials, and community partners from across Illinois to recognize the collective impact of our communities and celebrate the transformative work happening across the state.

Often referred to as the “Latino prom of the year,” the ILLCF’s Gala is one of the few spaces that brings together Latinos from every corner of Illinois for an evening of connection, culture, celebration, and purpose. It is a chance to honor our achievements, invest in future leaders, and strengthen relationships that advance our communities year-round.

As Latino communities continue to grow throughout Illinois, creating spaces for visibility, collaboration, and collective action is more important than ever.

Our annual gala highlights the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation’s work in advancing leadership development, civic engagement, education, and public policy that reflects the voices and priorities of Latino communities.

Today marks a historic milestone for our Foundation as we launch our 25th Anniversary campaign!

We are proud to announce the acquisition of our new property in Springfield, creating a permanent home for our work and a lasting investment in the communities we serve.

Having a physical presence in our state capital is about more than a building, it is about visibility, accessibility, and commitment. This space will allow us to strengthen relationships, expand opportunities, convene leaders, and ensure that our community has a place where ideas, advocacy, education, and service can flourish.

As we look toward the future, this new home represents stability, growth, and our continued dedication to empowering the next generation of leaders.

Thank you to everyone whose support, vision, and hard work helped make this possible. We are excited for what comes next.

We’re thankful for her time and work at the ILLCF and we’re so excited to see where she will continue to make an impact next 🥹✨

The ILLCF Alumni Association attended a truly heartfelt evening celebrating culture, storytelling, and the arts. 💛

We were honored to experience the premiere of The House on Mango Street ballet presented by Ballet 5:8’s Second Company at the Logan Center for the Arts in Chicago. The evening brought together alumni, supporters, and community members for an inspiring celebration of Latina stories and artistic expression.

From the moving performance to the vibrant Fiesta reception with Sandra Cisneros in attendance, the night was filled with connection, pride, and community spirit.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special evening unforgettable. Supporting the arts while coming together as an alumni family made this experience even more meaningful. ✨
