Our fearless leader and founder, Cynthia Stewart, has officially retired exactly one week ago. She spent a few days relaxing in beautiful Galena, IL and is now spending her days in reflection. Feel free to send her a note or give her a call to continue to wish her well.
Our new Executive Director, William E. Knight, will lead us forward for many years to come. We look forward to new and innovative ideas and projects.

Now that SOUL has reached its first decade, we are proud to announce that our founder, and first Executive Director, Cynthia Stewart, is officially retiring on August 30th.
She has laid a foundation for us to continue the work of her vision of equality... in small business development through coaching and resources, in training individual in the construction trades, and in access to sustainable housing through support for developers.
If you are joining us for her retirement party, we will see you then.
