This track represents the journey I’ve been on the last three years. It hasn’t been straight and narrow and there were many obstacles as I traveled this path that I had to overcome .

🗣️🗣️🗣️Exactly three years to this day I was hospitalized.

I had severe Covid back in October 2020 and hospitalized for a month and twelve days. Damn near lost my life. I was admitted to the hospital for treatment of severe respiratory failure and organ failure related to COVID-19 viral pneumonia. My illness required life sustaining treatment (VV-ECMO, intubation, and dialysis) and close monitoring in the ICU. As I stabilized and started to recover I was transferred to a general medicine floor for continue treatment and stabilization after my illness.

The virus also caused stress to my heart in which my heart wasn’t pumping strong enough and the ejection fraction was 35% which was an indicator of heart failure. I had an Echo Doppler Ultrasound on September 28th, 2023 and the last one was on December 2021. My ejection fraction is now 65% which my heart is back to normal.

I’ve learned to celebrate the small things and to take each day one day at a time. I just started back being more active and it’s my second day in the row that I have walked the track. I’m looking forward to getting back in the dojang and getting on mat.

🗣️🗣️🗣️Every moment I get I will share my story and experiences. So if you ask me why I’m sharing all these intimate details this is why.

Peace, love & light ❤️🖤💚

First, my people must be taught the knowledge of self. Then and only then will they be able to understand others and that which surrounds them. Anyone who does not have a knowledge of self is considered a victim of either amnesia or unconsciousness and is not very competent. The lack of knowledge of self is a prevailing condition among my people here in America. Gaining the knowledge of self makes us unite into a great unity. Knowledge of self makes you take on the great virtue of learning."- Honorable Elijah Muhammad

We should all be aware of the history of the police, their role, there interactions and the systematic racism within the government, education, housing and economics. We should be able to multitask aka address policing issues & brutality and community problems.

It all comes back to accountability aka self accountability from each and every one of us in our communities. It’s not one issue but many issues that are interconnected and wholistic. Resources is needed from economics, housing, education, health and mental health just to name a few.

While we forge on to battle & fight police brutality we must also continue to focus on self-love, knowledge of self, economic empowerment, nation & defense building. We must be vigilant and not only police the police but we must police ourselves.

The only ones that are going to save us is us. No outside entity especially those who does not look like us, live in our communities or understand us will save us. We can only save us.

👀Watch this, then click the link at the end of my post. This is exactly why I’m passionate about everybody having LegalShield, especially black and brown people! His father was lawyer/retired judge, but not everybody has that access to make that call! I have a ton of lawyer friends, but still have my LegalShield plan. I don’t beg anybody to join anything, but SMART PEOPLE take a look https://ls-info.com/d/znLwvH
