We know you have all been waiting for a Chicago Rescue Days recap - and here it is!
Going into this, we weren’t really sure what to expect. Finding foster homes around the holidays is tough - thanks to cold weather, travel, burnout, etc.
BUT this was one of the most successful Chicago Rescue Days ever!
29 groups came together to pull local animals from . That’s a new participation record!
56 cats were rescued, and almost 25% of them were senior or medical cases.
And if that sounds like a lot...how about 79 dogs!? That’s another CRD record! Of those, 47 were large dogs and 27 of those large dogs were bully breeds.
In total between merch sales and cash donations, we raised $31,047 which is well beyond what we raised in 2023.
