Deck the Desks is thrilled to begin our second year! With the holidays quickly approaching, we are filled with excitement and anticipation for this season. We are currently in the process of choosing a recipient school for the donations. Please check back with us periodically for updates.

Due to a scheduling conflict, Deck the Desks will have to move the drop off date for the supplies to Tuesday, January 10. We apologize for this last minute change.

In other news, the inventory is almost done being counted, and it's looking great!! This was a very successful first year, and our hearts go out to ever one of our donors and donation sites for making this possible.

Happy Holidays from Deck the Desks!! Hopefully you all had a great holiday season.

This year for Deck the Desks is coming to a close as 2012 begins. Today we will be picking up our donation boxes to add to the wonderful pile of supplies which we have accumulated.

We cannot wait to share the results with you all, and tomorrow we will be shopping for any supplies that are still needed. Pictures will be posted of the final results.

Monday, January 9, will be our drop off date, so stay tuned for a few more days for the conclusion of our launching year!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated and made our efforts so successful. We never could have done it without each and every one of you!!!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! It's back to work here at Deck the Desks. We're trying to find businesses willing to be donation sites! If you know of any that might be interested, or are hot spots for families, let us know!! Just comment below with any suggestions!

What a great start to the week here at Deck the Desks!!! We happily added an entire paper bag full of donations to our stock pile, which is slowly starting to grow! A huge heartfelt thank you to all of those who have donated, and an especially large thank you to all of our class members and professors at DePaul University who have gone above and beyond to make donations!

While the donations are going great, we still need tons of supplies!! Spiral notebooks, crayons, glue...you name it we need it!! We are happy to report though, that our inventory now includes 123 pencils!

Thank you again to all of the selfless individuals who have contributed, and we can't wait to see what else is in store for us! Have a great week, stay warm, and keep those school supplies coming in!!
