Friends of Jones EVERYONE'S WELCOME! All parents and guardians of Jones College Prep students are automatically members of Friends of Jones – no membership fees are required.

Friends of Jones is a NFP organization of school parents, guardians, family, friends and community members who support education and community building at Jones College Prep. We encourage all to get involved and make a meaningful contribution — of time, money, event participation and sponsorship — to keep the legacy of Jones going strong.

🚨 POPSICLE UPDATE 🚨

Yes, we really did run out of popsicles. 🍧😅

Between yearbook signing, celebrating the end of the school year, and one last sweet treat with friends, they disappeared faster than a homework pass in June!

We’re so happy to end the school year on such a high note. Thank you to our incredible FOJ donors and volunteers whose generosity made celebrations like this possible all year long.

🎭✨ GRANT SPOTLIGHT: Drama Club Spring Musical ✨🎭

FOJ is proud to have supported this year’s Drama Club Spring Musical, Urinetown, with a $10,000 grant that funded scenic design and construction, lighting, and sound.

This investment helped bring the production to life, creating an unforgettable experience for both performers and audiences while directly impacting approximately 100–150 students.

Thank you to our donors for helping provide opportunities that allow our students to shine.

🎓🦅 GRANT SPOTLIGHT: SENIOR DECISION DAY 🦅🎓

Tomorrow, the Class of 2026 will walk across the stage and officially become Jones alumni. Today marks their final day as Jones seniors, and we’re proud to have helped make one of their final celebrations memorable.

Thanks to the generosity of our FOJ donors, a $2,600 grant supported this year’s Senior Decision Day celebration, providing decorations, treats, and gift card raffles as students celebrated their exciting plans for the future.

Approximately 500 seniors were impacted by this grant.

To the Class of 2026: Congratulations on all you have accomplished. We wish you the very best as you begin this next chapter and can’t wait to see all that you achieve.

Through a $2,327 FOJ grant, our students were able to compete at the 2026 U.S. High School Chess Nationals. The grant helped cover tournament entry fees, chess sets, team uniforms, and chess books — giving our players the opportunity to represent Jones on the national stage.

Your generosity helps create opportunities for students to learn, compete, and succeed beyond the classroom.
