THANK YOU to Allen and the San Antonio
Spurs for partnering up with Operation Warrior Wishes to get a few heroes to their 2026 Playoff Opener.

THANK YOU to Army Veterans Mike Denison and Danny Diaz,AirForce MstSgt Scott Lilley
as well as Allen from the Spurs who also is an AirForce veteran, for service to our country

Thanks to the Spurs,a couple Army buddies,and neighbors got to hang out and watch a big Spurs win - while a Dad and Scott’s 14 year old daughter,Mikaylie got to spend some special time together.

Not only did they have great seats for the game,they also got to watch pregame warm ups Courtside and even “HIGH FIVE” the players onto the court,helping to inspire the Spurs to victory.

Good morning everyone and hope your week is going well. Just an FYI - we had 412 events in 2025 and 97 so far this year already and have granted a couple thousand “Wishes” the past couple years. You may have seen them all on Facebook but NOT on our website - that is because we have not been able to get on to our site to update it. We are not sure if SiteGround or our provider went out of business or why we can’t access our website,
but looking for someone in IT who may know what the issue is and how we can update.

Window World of Western Chicago is proud to sponsor Operation Warrior Wishes and help give back to the brave men and women who have served our country.

This month, we’re honored to send two incredible veterans to the Chicago Blackhawks vs. Minnesota Wild game on March 17th for a well-deserved night out.

Army Sergeant Wojciech Porebski served in Iraq and Kuwait from 2004–2005, working as a mechanic, in security, and as a translator. After his service, he continued protecting his community with over 20 years of experience as a detective.

Fred Torres served in the U.S. Army from 1966–1969, completing a tour in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division in Bien Hoa. Fred was wounded in action, received a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star for his service, and was honorably discharged.

We’re grateful for the sacrifices these heroes have made and are honored to support organizations like Operation Warrior Wishes that give back to those who have given so much. Enjoy the game, Wojciech and Fred! 🏒

back-to-back weeks in San Francisco for the Super Bowl and in Los Angeles for the NBA All Star game !!! Kudos to the NBA for making AllStar games fun again …in fact May have even been better than Super Bowl …LOL!!
