A Word to Encourage You

“Trust and obey”

I heard someone say, “When you Obey the leading of the Holy Spirit you can never go wrong.”
When we trust and obey, we are not only positioning ourselves for “Now” blessings in our personal relationships with Jesus Christ, we are positioning ourselves for eternity.
The message is…
Trust God for what you cannot see and Walk in obedience to His Word.
‭‭So my friends, as The Word says…
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭23‬)

Our 44th annual weekend retreat will be here before you know it. From Friday, September 12 thru Sunday, September 14, we welcome new and returning attendees.

“A Word to encourage you”

Genesis‬ ‭28‬:‭16‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬
“Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.””
‭‭As Women, Sometimes we can get caught up in the, distractions, struggles, or just the busyness of every day life; that we may forget or we fail to realize God has promised to always be with us.
So
My Sisters, just like Jacob woke up from his sleep to a great realization, in the midst of his needs and fear,
I encourage you today,
to Wake Up! Get up!
knowing that The Lord is with you.
Remember, He has promised never to leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭5‬b KJV‬‬)

A WORD TO ENCOURAGE YOU
“Trust in the Lord”
Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“This is what the Lord says: “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes.
They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.
“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.
(Psalm 1:3)
It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.””

“WORD TO ENCOURAGE YOU “

John‬ ‭13‬:‭35‬ ‭NASB
“By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.””
‭‭
Someone said,
“If Christ is the center of your life the people on the circumference will know it.”
You ask, how will they know it?

Well, are you wearing the badge of Christ in your daily walk?
(Gal 5:22-23)

Does your actions reflect who you are in Christ?

In this season, it’s easy to find yourself in a compromised situation that may cause you to want to act out of character.

But Let me encourage you
to exemplify the character of Christ no matter what the challenges or distractions
may be.
Jesus is saying in the text …
“ They will know we are Christians by our love.”

So let others on the periphery see who we are by the way we love.

Making the best of your Space

God is in control
Psalm‬ ‭46‬:‭10
“Be still, and know that I am God:
I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”

When we are feeling out of control as we sometimes will, it is comforting to know that God is our refuge and strength.

We can be still, relax, being confident in His presence and protection no matter what it
looks like.
Everything is within His Perfect Will and Nothing is outside of
His control.
He is in absolute control of our daily lives. Every situation and every circumstance, every high and every low moments that we experience is within in His grasp.
He promised to work All things out for our good and His glory.
(Rom 8:28)

He is the Sovereign God of the universe who is in absolute control. We can trust Him with any outcome no matter what!
So my friends, let us rely on the omnipotence of the Lord of Host who is with us (v. 11) and look to the future with confidence.

“Words to encourage you”
Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭8‬ ‭
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

Sometimes we can find ourselves in the midst of changes or challenges.
you may notice friendship drifts, financial security shifts, illness or tragedy strikes, things that were familiar and solid in your environment may appears unstable. Everything may seem to be changing from your perspective.

Even in this season, when one may be swayed into ambivalence of what changes the immediate future holds.
The text tells us that “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.”

Regardless of what is going on around you, DO NOT LOSE FAITH!
Remember how God kept you in the past. In His faithfulness, He remains the same.

So my friends, Just like you chose, by faith, to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior,
today, you can confidently choose to trust Him in every situation. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Be encouraged.

Malachi‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬a, reminds us …
“For I am the LORD, I change not; “‬‬
