Loyola Move-In starts TODAY! 🏠✨

We’re welcoming approximately 5,000 student Ramblers back to campus starting today including 3,000 first-year students moving into their new home away from home.

Move-In runs August 14-20, and our Campus Safety, Community Relations, and Residence Life teams are working together to keep things safe, organized, and smooth for students, families, and our Rogers Park neighbors alike.

📋 A few temporary changes to know:
• Parking restrictions in effect near campus
• Increased traffic in the area throughout the week

We’re grateful for our neighbors’ patience and partnership as we welcome our newest Ramblers home. Visit our Move-In website for full details and updates.

TAKE THE SURVEY! There’s still time to make your voice heard! Alderwoman Maria Hadden’s community feedback survey on Loyola’s proposed St. Ignatius partnership with the Ignatian Mission Center is open now.

The plan includes a new 5-story student apartment building, plus preservation of St. Ignatius Church and Rectory for community-serving uses: transitional housing for domestic violence survivors, a childcare facility, and a choice food pantry.

Take the survey and share your perspective. Learn more about the plans, FAQs, and community meeting recording.

Loyola University Chicago’s Office of Community Relations is proud to stand with neighbors in Lyons as a sponsor of the Annual Back to School Event! 🎒📚

Together with Cook County Commissioner Frank Aguilar, Naranjo Family Foundation, Lyons School District 103, and so many community partners, we’re helping make sure students start the year ready and supported, with free backpacks, school supplies, haircuts, and more.

This is what community collaboration looks like. Grateful to be part of it.
