2026/27 NEW ARTIST | Welcoming T’aja Williams T originally from Sacramento, California and Bermuda
T’aja Williams was raised in Sacramento, California, and Bermuda. She is an alumn of the Grier School and George Mason University with a BFA in Dance. T’aja also received an Outstanding Service To The Field Award from the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Miss Williams has had the privilege of working with Susan Shields, Shaun Boyle D’Arcy, Christopher dAmboise, Lawrence Jackson, Kate Weare, Mike Tyus, Luca Francesco Renzi, Joshua Manculich, Nicole von Arx, and Darrel Grande Moultrie. She has gained experience through the Paul Taylor Summer Intensive, Alonzo King Lines Summer Program, American Dance Festival, the International Association of Blacks in Dance, Whim W’Him Summer Dance Intensive, and Doug Varone’s Winter Workshop.
T’aja has premiered five choreographed works throughout her undergraduate education, titled Reconciliation I, Oh My Gosh!, Salt and Light, This Isn’t Your Story To Tell, and Amidst.
