Today, VOSH Illinois teamed up with Embrace Relief Midwest and Pre-health Scholars to distribute free prescription glasses to patients from our recent clinic. With the support of OneSight, we were able to provide high-quality eyewear to community members at no cost.

We’re thankful for the volunteers and partners who helped make today possible and proud to continue expanding access to vision care for those who need it most.

This team of 60 volunteers provided free eye care to 100 members of the Mount Prospect community at the Turkish American Society, Inc this weekend. We are grateful to our hosts Embrace Relief Midwest and Pre-Health Scholars for helping make this clinic a success. We are excited to bring prescription eyewear to 86 people thanks to OneSight. Today VOSH Illinois along with Family Matters Chicago dispensed over 70 pairs of prescription eyewear to the Rogers Park community. Thanks to our dedicated volunteers and partners, we were able deliver not just vision correction, but quality care and meaningful impact on daily life. We’re grateful to all who contributed to making this possible including Cherry Optical Lab and OneSight.

Nearly 100 Rogers Park residents received eye exams, glasses, and healthcare resources this weekend thanks to an incredible team of volunteers. 👓

VOSH Illinois was proud to partner with Family Matters Chicago, Endeavor Health, and Tapestry 360 Health, SVOSH at ICO, and University of Illinois Chicago's Medicina Scholars to bring vision care to the community.

Access to care is foundational to well-being.

Last week VOSH-Illinois with Illinois College of Optometry and SVOSH at ICO provided eye care to survivors of domestic violence at Apna Ghar, Inc. (Our Home).

Many of the individuals we serve face significant barriers to accessing eye care, leading to delays in treatment and an increased risk of preventable vision loss. At VOSH-Illinois, we strive to reduce these barriers and deliver high-quality, comprehensive care to those who need it most.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our partners and volunteers whose commitment makes this work possible.
