The Bosnian American Genocide Institute & Education Center (BAGI) is a newly established not-for profit charitable and educational organization. BAGI is dedicated to scientific research pertaining to the genocide of Bosniak/ Bosnian Muslims and to educate others about the holocaust, genocide and other forms of crimes against humanity and international law.

On July 11, 2025, recognized the Srebrenica genocide through a proclamation as Srebrenica Genocide Awareness Day.

For the thousands of genocide survivors in the state of Illinois, and the family members of the victims this is a significant acknowledgment.

Today we march along 1000+ people in memory of the Srebrenica genocide victims. The walk was organized by .h.g.f and sponsored by a dozen businesses and organizations, and supported by at least few dozen volunteers.

Today , the mayor of Washington, D.C.,recognized the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide by proclaiming today as Srebrenica Remembrance Day.

From July 11-18, 2025, the Bosnian American Genocide Institute () will live stream a reading of the all of the victims of the Srebrenica Genocide through LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.

We are looking for volunteers to read the names of all of the victims of the Srebrenica genocide.

Expectations of Volunteers:
1. To have access to a phone or computer that can be used to video record the names that have been assigned.
2. To read the 100 names or less that were assigned in 1 recording.
3. To submit the recording by July 1, 2025, so we can prepare our stream.
4. To help us reshare the streaming links across your social media channels

If you requested specific family names, we will do our best to organize the lists if they overlap with the current grouping system to make sure that you can read the names you requested.
