Richard joined Stein Learning Gardens as a volunteer in 2020 and eventually became part of the program team to keep the vision alive and growing. You might know him as the man with the van or one of our top participants in group photos (see attached!), but he is also known to us as an incredibly passionate supporter of local foods and community access to the resources needed to thrive in Auburn-Gresham. If you’ve ever enjoyed a home grow kit or a fresh tomato from the farmstand, chances are Richard’s work directly supported that experience.

So, today, we wish you a very happy birthday, Richard and many more to come! We are so grateful to know you and have you in our circle!
