Ride number 12 (2015-2026) from Chicago to Wisconsin is in the books!
84 riders rode their bicycles 41.9 miles on July 11th from Loyola Academy to Carthage College in Kenosha, WI on a spectacular summer day to support the mission of the Henry Schueler 41 & 9 Foundation.
And then 64 of us got back on our bikes and rode back to Loyola Academy completing 83.8 miles round trip!
In the process we raised over $135,000 to support our research initiatives at the Mullighan Lab at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and in support of the life saving work of Dr. Thomas Walsh, the Henry Schueler Scholar on Mucormycosis.
A massive thank you to all the riders, volunteers, sponsors and donors who again supported our event.
Special thanks to the Wilmette Fire Department and Niles Fire Chief, Pat Maloney, who provided the riders with an es**rt to the Village limits and to our great friend, Dan Luna, who provided the early morning tunes for a great send off.
And thanks to Stormy’s in Northfield and Double Clutch Brewing in Evanston for the great food and b**r at our post ride gathering at Loyola.
