As we sit back to reflect on the year, we can't help but be grateful for your partnership and support throughout the years. Initially, our mission was to bridge the resource gap between different Non Profit organizations, but we've decided to focus on an organization that has tremendous needs and the result has been amazing. We traveled to Nigeria in 2014 and helped with building structure around a grassroots organization called LifeCrown Foundation. We started by understanding the needs in rural communities in the outskirts of Lagos, which allowed us to plan our course of action. The most urgent need was continuous quality health care which we were able to provide by setting up weekly medical outreach. These weekly outreaches conducted in partnership with medical professionals allowed us to provide targeted care for many in the communities we served. As we started to frequent these communities more, the locals had another request which we knew we had to fulfill, and that request was for schools. We saw that many children don't attend school mainly due to lack of financial resources on their parents parts and because there were very few schools close to their neighborhoods. We went to work and began researching and planning yet another venture. We're delighted to say that through prayer and strategic partnerships, we've been able to secure a temporary building to host elementary school children in 2016. We reached out to teachers and educators in our local churches who will serve as consultants and resources for these school. We were able to budget for the fiscal year 2016 with plans to continue raising funds to support the school. This new venture was a bit intimidating, at first as we thought how can we afford teachers, school supplies and all the expenses that goes with running a school, but we knew that the God that started this work will surely perfect it. God has been more than faithful with taking care of these needs one by one through money we've raised and outpouring of volunteers and organizations that have joined us. It has been an amazing year and we look forward to continue working with you to educate the future generation and positively impact others. As Melody Beattie once said " Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.” We are grateful for you! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. Cheers to a brighter 2016!! **Attached are pictures from one of our medical outreaches...more updates to come in 2016***
