Leaders Breakfast is back in person on Friday, December 9th! Now, we need your help in nominating our next IIDA Illinois Chapter Honoree and Emerging Leader Award! To submit a nomination, send an email to Immediate Past President Jamie Cavalier at [email protected] with your nominee name. Nominations close end of day on Friday, August 5th. Nomination criteria is below. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!

IIDA Illinois Chapter Honoree Criteria:
An individual who has made significant contributions to the Chicagoland / Illinois interior design community over the course of their career.
Must have at least 20 years active in the interior design industry in some capacity (professor/educator, designer, architect)
Positive community / philanthropic contributions
Ideally active in IIDA or an IIDA member

IIDA Illinois Chapter Emerging Leader Award Criteria:
A young professional who has made significant contributions to the Chicagoland / Illinois interior design community early in their career.
Must have at least 4 years active in the interior design industry in some capacity (designer, architect)
Positive community / philanthropic contributions
Active IIDA member

All nominees for each category will be reviewed by the IIDA Illinois Chapter Board’s Executive Committee and an International Benefactor MillerKnoll representative to narrow the list to the top (3) nominees. Finalists will be presented to the Leaders Nomination Committee, which consists of IIDA IL Past Presidents, Past Honorees, Executive Committee, International Benefactor MillerKnoll Representative and Illinois College Professors within accredited Interior Design Programs for a vote to select a recipient in each category.

The 2022 Honoree and Emerging Leader Award recipients will be notified the week of August 25th.
