Ukrainian Village Neighborhood Association - Chicago The UVNA provides a forum for residents and local leaders to discuss neighborhood news, new developme Its boundaries are Division St. (2000 W) to the east.

Ukrainian Village is a historic Chicago neighborhood located south of Wicker Park. (1200 N) to the north, Chicago Ave. (800 N) to the south, Western Ave. (2400 W) to the west, and Damen Ave. It was the first neighborhood to be designated an 'official neighborhood' of Chicago by Mayor Jane Byrne in 1983. A section of the neighborhood was designated as a Chicago Landmark District in 2002 with extensions added in 2005 and 2007.

A huge thank you our neighbors and members of the Blue Line Run Club who joined us in our Earth Day/Neighborhood Clean Up event this past weekend! It was a great time to meet new neighbors and enjoy post event food and beverages!! Thank you J&M Tap for serving as our base again this year!

Ukrainian Village Neighborhood Clean up this Saturday at 9am. Meet at J&M Tap and join your neighbors in making things cleaner around our neighborhood. There will be food and beverages available for participants beginning around 11:15 am back at J&M.

Ukrainian Village Neighborhood Clean Up


Calling for volunteers!! Join your neighbors in doing some spring cleaning in our neighborhood! Here are the details:

Date: Saturday, 25 April 2026
Time: 9am - 12pm
Meeting location: 957 N. Leavitt

Gloves, garbage bags and other supplies to assist in our clean-up efforts will be provided. We plan to canvas assigned areas for two (2) hours and reconvene back at J&M Tap at 11:15am. Please stay for some food, beverages, and socializing afterwards. Adult beverages available from the bar inside! Sign up today!
