A majority of Chicago City Council is standing with immigrant families. 🙌 Ahead of this week’s FY2027 budget release, 26 alders signed a letter backing $3 million for the Chicago Legal Protection Fund, joining Mayor Johnson, who has committed to level funding.

Our communities are still under attack, and families are counting on LPF’s free immigration legal services to know their rights, get a lawyer and stay together. When the budget drops, we look forward to seeing LPF funded at $3 million and Chicago continue to invest in its immigrant families.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re coming together to celebrate the strength of Latina breast cancer survivors and support the community that stands beside them.

We’re grateful to and for partnering with TRP ELLAS for a special Back to My Roots: Jalisco menu by Chef Carlos Gaytán. Featuring a pink risotto, quail with mole rosa, and a cocktail crafted with Podérrosa Tequila, this collaboration brings the flavors of Jalisco to the table for a meaningful cause.

Until the end of October, featured dishes and the Podérrosa cocktail will support TRP ELLAS, an initiative dedicated to supporting Latina breast cancer survivors.

Join us at Tzuco this month! Enjoy a taste of Jalisco while helping uplift the women and families in our community. All featured dishes and the signature cocktail are an opportunity to give back.
